Forgive my tardy response. I’m glad you ladies enjoyed the show. If you were a regular reader of this blog (and not coming from, I’m guessing, a Willowz google search) you’d know that I don’t write about bands I really don’t care for. What’s the point? If I can be accused of anything, it’s being a wee bit “over-enthusiastic” about the bands I love. I happen to like the Willowz, which is why I was disappointed in the sound. And yes, I was wearing earplugs for their set, but I prefer not to, because even with the best quality ones I think you’re bound to lose some of the music. I’m guessing you were right up front, ’cause further back the audience was clearly (and perhaps unfairly) unappreciative. I wasn’t able to make the 2nd show – hopefully it went better for them. They’re a good band! [lordy, if I let music journalists make my rock 'n roll "not so fun", I would have missed a lot of awesome shows last year...]

Yeah, the Willowz were awesome!!! I don’t know what this person is talking about. If you think a band is too loud, there are these things called earplugs. It is weird how writers can make rock n’ roll so not fun. Delta Spirit was also amazing!!! I am so glad I got to see two of my favorite bands at once. A true dream come true.

I thought the Willowz rocked. I really love their new album, Everyone. Delta Spirit is a great live show too.

I actually really liked The Willowz. I have been a fan since their album in 2005. I luckily have tickets for next Mondays show as well.
I was really impressed with DS new songs and cannot wait for the new album.

ooh, too bad about the first band. yikes. Glad Delta Spirit was good. Thanks for putting up the video of People C’mon – it’s such a great song! I haven’t seen them live yet (except for Matt, solo and acoustic) Hope to someday though.
