This album was two years in the making. Kieran Kelly, who worked on Sufjan Stephen&#8217;s Illinoise, produced it, Mattie Safer (The Rapture) contributed backing vocals, and it&#8217;s a lovely thing indeed. In fact, there&#8217;s a positive, upbeat vibe here that&#8217;s not unwelcomed. A little vintage, easy-going, fuzzy and feel good &mdash; not to mention those pretty harmonies throughout.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/284348814&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>National Fantasy<\/strong> is their third full-length album. Their debut, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bridgesandpowerlines.bandcamp.com\/album\/ghost-types\">Ghost Types<\/a><\/strong> was released in 2007, followed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bridgesandpowerlines.bandcamp.com\/album\/eve\">Eve<\/a><\/strong> in 2011. They&#8217;ve toured extensively with bands such as The Antlers, HEALTH, Chappo and Clues. More recently, while they were working on this new album, they were also building their own professional recording studio and, if that wasn&#8217;t enough to keep themselves busy, they opened a live music venue, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldsoundsbar.com\/\">Gold Sounds<\/a><\/strong>, in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\"
