Assembly of Dust<\/a> have been performing their warm blend of southern rock, country, Americana, folk-rock, blues and R&B since 2003. The band features Reid Genauer (formerly of the folk rock group Strangefolk) ~ lead vocals, guitar; Adam Terrell ~ lead guitar, vocals; Andy Herrick ~ drums; and John Leccese ~ bass, vocals. They’ve been compared to bands like Little Feat, J.J. Cale, The Band, Neil Young, Wilco – even The Beatles. <\/p>\n

They have four albums to date – The Assembly of Dust<\/em><\/a> (2003), The Honest Hour<\/em><\/a> (2004), Recollection<\/em><\/a> (2006), and their new release, Some Assembly Required<\/em><\/a> (Rock Ridge Music).<\/p>\n

Some Assembly Required<\/em> features many special guests, including: Mike Gordon<\/a> (Phish<\/a>), who performs a psychedelic guitar solo on “Arc of the Sun”, Jerry Douglas<\/a>, Martin Sexton<\/a>, Grace Potter<\/a>, Keller Williams<\/a>, Bela Fleck<\/a>, and Richie Havens<\/a>. A few of the songs were written with co-producer Nate Wilson<\/a>. <\/p>\n
