Their theme is &#8220;Mystery,&#8221; and the performance will feature spoken word artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/jhadwilliams\">Jha D<\/a>, magician <a href=\"http:\/\/ja-jp.facebook.com\/pages\/Dezrah-The-Strange\/296877205602\">Dezrah the Strange<\/a>, burlesque by Penny Candy and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/abbynormal_bib\">Abby Normal<\/a>, The System of Soothing (a 7 minute opera by Frank Pesci based on a story by Edgar Allen Poe), and much more. There&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/bostonahtsfestival.com\/ahts\/%28ahts%29%3A_The_Boston_Arts_Festival_Home.html\">The Boston Waterfront Performing Arts Festival<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/christopher-columbus-waterfront-park-boston\">Christopher Columbus Park<\/a> (in the North End) on Tuesday (8\/10), featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sarahborges.com\/\">Sarah Borges and The Broken Singles<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/newcollisions.muxtape.com\/\">the New Collisions<\/a>. On Thursday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/clubdelf\">Club D&#8217;Elf<\/a> are playing at the Lizard Lounge. On Friday, there&#8217;s three things of note: Agent Bishop Presents <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AgentBishop#!\/event.php?eid=127441243939821&#038;index=1\">The Lucky 13 Bash<\/a> at Church of Boston; Goli Going East (members of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fluttreffect.com\">Fluttr Effect<\/a>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabiriamusic.com\/\">Cabiria<\/a>&#8216;s CD release party; and Jo-Jo&#8217;s (who&#8217;s Jo-Jo?) Goli Going East is, I believe, Vessela Stoyanova (marimba) and Valerie Thompson (cello, vocals) of the renown <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/golimusic\">Goli<\/a> (and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/fluttreffect\">Fluttr Effect<\/a>). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabiriamusic.com\/\">Cabiria<\/a> (from NYC &#8211; operatic vocals, trip-hop groove and Spanish Flamenco) is celebrating the release of their 6-song EP, <em>A Product of Humankind<\/em>. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/mollyzenobia\">Molly Zenobia<\/a> performs dreamlike, drifting, very experimental music &#8211; keyboards\/piano and samples, with some extremely pretty vocals. It features the inimitable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/johnpowhidainternationalairport\">John Powhida &amp; the International Airport<\/a> and punk rockers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-Marvels\/194388970723\">The Marvels<\/a>. The listing says &#8220;semi-formal dress code encouraged.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h4>Otis Grove @ the Middle East Corner &#8211; FREE!
